A joint study by HKUST and HKUMed researchers has identified a broadly neutralizing antibody, ZCB11, that protects Syrian hamsters against all SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variants. The antibody demonstrates potent antiviral activities and can protect lung infection under both prophylactic and therapeutic conditions.
