A new study found that receiving treatment at Primary Stroke Centers (PSCs) led to significantly better survival rates for patients traveling less than 90 minutes. However, the benefit was nullified when travel time exceeded 90 minutes. The study used a cohort of Medicare beneficiaries with acute stroke admitted between 2010 and 2013.
