A Phase III clinical trial has shown that baxdrostat significantly lowers blood pressure in people whose levels remain dangerously high despite taking multiple existing medicines. The study found that nearly 4 in 10 patients achieved healthy blood pressure levels, compared to fewer than 2 in 10 on placebo.
