Global urban environmental change drives adaptation in white clover

Researchers sampled 110,019 white clover plants from 160 cities to find that urban environments drive adaptation at a global scale. Urban clovers produce less of the antiherbivore defense molecule hydrogen cyanide compared to rural clovers.
