Researchers developed 'sci-Space,' a new approach to spatial transcriptomics, retaining single-cell resolution while resolving spatial context at larger scales. The technique was applied to developing mouse embryos, capturing spatial coordinates and whole transcriptomes of nearly 120,000 cells.
