A new patient-centered intervention reduced severe asthma exacerbations by 15% in African American/Black and Hispanic/Latinx patients with moderate-to-severe asthma. The study also found improved asthma symptoms and days of impairment, mirroring previous recommendations for patients with similar conditions.
