A new study found that low-income boys' inattention in kindergarten is associated with lower earnings 30 years later, while prosocial behavior is linked to higher earnings. The research followed 920 boys from low-income neighborhoods and found that teachers' ratings of inattention were a significant predictor of adult earnings.
