A study published in JAMA Psychiatry found that parents' psychiatric disorders are associated with an increased risk of suicide attempts and violent offending in children. The study, which examined over 1.7 million people born in Denmark, found that risks were elevated across virtually the entire spectrum of parental psychiatric disease.
