Researchers found that IgG antibodies remain stable for up to 105 days after symptom onset in COVID-19 patients, while IgA and IgM antibodies decay rapidly. Saliva can be used as an alternative biofluid for antibody testing due to detectable levels of spike protein-specific antibodies.
