Research from Drexel University suggests that screen time for babies and less parent-child playtime are associated with increased autism spectrum disorder-like symptoms. The study found a four percent greater risk of ASD-like symptoms with screen viewing at 12 months, and daily playtime reduced the risk by nine percent.
