A new analysis found that healthcare workforce employment levels declined in mid-2020, with skilled nursing facilities experiencing a 13.6% decline compared to 2019. Healthcare sector wages also increased at a lower rate relative to the national average, with a 5% increase in 2020 and 1.5% in 2021.
