A Phase 1 clinical trial presents promising results for a broadly neutralizing antibody (bnAb) HIV vaccine, inducing bnAb-precursor responses in 26 of 27 vaccine recipients. The germline-targeting immunogen was safe and feasible, supporting the concept of germline targeting for HIV prevention.
