A new wearable sensor and AI technology combo can predict worsening heart failure in patients up to 80% of the time, allowing for early intervention and potential prevention of rehospitalizations. The system has shown promising results in detecting changes in heart rate, rhythm, and other normal activities before a hospitalization occurs.
