TRUST 2002 study shows levofloxacin resistance remains rare in S. pneumoniae
The TRUST 2002 study found high resistance rates to penicillin (18.4%) and azithromycin (27.5%), but low levofloxacin resistance (<1%). Levofloxacin's minimal inhibitory concentrations did not correlate with those of other antibiotics.
