Mayo Clinic Cancer Center -- Surgery and adjuvant therapy may work for pancreatic cancer
Researchers at Mayo Clinic Cancer Center found that giving patients both radiation and chemotherapy after completely removing invasive pancreatic cancer significantly improves patient survival rates. More than half of the 454 patients who received adjuvant therapy survived two years, with a five-year survival rate of 28%.
