NASHVILLE — Neurointerventional specialists will share groundbreaking scientific research and clinical innovations July 14–17 at the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS).

The scientific conference at Music City Center will feature in-person and livestreamed sessions, including the latest breakthroughs in middle meningeal artery treatment, the future of AI and robotics in the field, innovations in neurointerventional oncology and how pregnancy can worsen the risk of arteriovenous malformations. The conference theme, Breaking Down Barriers , highlights opportunities to support our global, multidisciplinary workforce. Programming will emphasize the need for broad access to innovative research, tools and training to provide the highest quality of care for all patients.

Bozeman, Montana, stroke survivor Andrew Grillos will present the Amy Walters Patient Lecture , and the Grant Hieshima Luminary Lecture will be presented by William O. Bank, MD, a renowned neurointerventionalist and pioneer in the field from Washington, DC, with more than 50 years of medical experience.

“With every passing year, the field of neurointervention grows more precise, innovative and essential. Opportunities to openly exchange rapidly changing ideas in a diverse environment are vital, which is why the SNIS Annual Meeting is essential for the field of neurointervention,” said SNIS President Johanna T. Fifi, MD. “As a platform for exposure to emerging research, novel technologies and clinical philosophies, this collaborative environment makes advancing patient care possible."

The 22nd Annual Meeting will highlight dozens of promising research studies, with press releases available on the following abstracts:

Virtual attendees have the option to view sessions in real-time, participate in surveys and ask questions during presentations. All registrants will have access to content and recordings for months after the meeting adjourns.
