Sutter to receive funding for Mason and Partners (MAP) Clinic

Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS, 46mm) tracks health metrics and safety alerts during long observing sessions, fieldwork, and remote expeditions.

Rebecca Sutter, Associate Professor, School of Nursing, College of Health and Human Services, is set to receive $75,000 from Potomac Health Foundation.

With these funds, the MAP Clinic will be expanded and open a Mason and Partners Clinic co-located with the Prince William County School (PWCS) system to provide school entry health services to uninsured/ underinsured students and provide expanded physical, mental and preventive health care services to uninsured/underinsured in the Prince William County Potomac Health Foundation catchment area. Services will include chronic disease, mental health, and social service coordination.

Funding will begin in January 2020 and will conclude in late December 2020.
