Edward Maibach, Director, Center for Climate Change Communication; University Professor, Communication, and Mona Sarfaty, Director, Climate and Health, Center for Climate Change Communication, Communication, received $100,000 from Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc., for the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health.

The Consortium organizes, empowers, mobilizes, and amplifies the voices of America's doctors to convey how climate change is harming our health and how climate solutions will improve it. The Consortium currently includes 32 national medical societies--that collectively represent more than half of America's doctors--and more than 50 other partner health organizations.

This funding supports the Consortium's work to advance climate, health, and equity solutions in partnership with the National Medical Association.

This funding began in March 2021 and will end in late December 2022.
