Dr. Naert's research has spanned long-term human clinical studies on implant-supported prostheses to biomechanical studies using photo-elasticity, strain gauges, and finite element analysis. He also has studied individual implant designs, including the effects of implant surface coatings. The results of his numerous studies have been extensively documented in peer-reviewed journals and have had a beneficial effect on the practice of implant dentistry.
