Papers are being invited for the International Rubber Conference, IRC 2001, which will take place on 12-14 June next year in Birmingham. IRC 2001 will have a new approach to previous events, focusing on profit and performance from the transportation industry, highlighting the automotive sector. The emphasis will be on rubber in partnership with other materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics, and textiles.
The conference will cover all aspects of design, materials development and innovative process requirements, product performance and e-commerce. Sessions will include:

Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of 300 words for consideration in the programme to IOM Communications Ltd by 29 September 2000.
