On December 4, 2024, Journal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (JICV) was officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index ( ESCI ), a core collection of the Web of Science under Clarivate Analytics. JICV will receive its first impact factor in June 2025. Its CiteScoreTracker 2024 is 11.0 now.
JICV, sponsored by Tsinghua University, published by Tsinghua University Press , and hosted on IEEE Xplore , publishes peer-reviewed, open access papers on all aspects of intelligent and connected vehicle (ICV) technology. The application areas involve cars, buses, vessels, and trains. JICV welcomes theoretical papers, technology reviews, and case studies featuring interdisciplinary approaches from mechanical/automotive engineering, communication engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, and network science. The scope covers, but is not limited to:
JICV has been indexed in ESCI, Ei Compendex, Scopus, Inspec, DOAJ, ProQuest, etc, and was rated as a high-quality scientific journal in the field of automotive engineering in China-T1 category in January 2021. In 2023, it was selected as a high-starting-point new journal project of the “China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan”. At its discretion, Tsinghua University Press will pay the open access fee for all published papers from 2024 to 2025.
