What The Study Did: The findings of this birth cohort study of 3.4 million children suggest that the increased risk of neurodevelopment disorders seen in children born to women who took antipsychotic drugs late in pregnancy seems to be explained by maternal characteristics and is not causally related with prenatal antipsychotic exposure.
