On 12-14 January 2021, SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics , and the Chinese Laser Press will host a colloquium sponsored by their co-published journal Advanced Photonics. The six 90-minute interactive events will be moderated by the journal's associate editors and will cover new research and innovations in nanophotonics, imaging, quantum research, and metalenses. Registration for the events is free and open to the public .
The sessions will be streamed in time zones convenient to anyone in the world, and recordings of the individual sessions -- each of which will include interactive Q&A time -- will be available at a later date via the Advanced Photonics Colloquium webpage .

About CLP
Chinese Laser Press (CLP), established by the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics and the Chinese Optical Society in 2009, is dedicated to promoting the development of optics and photonics in research institutions and industry. CLP publishes seven journals besides Advanced Photonics , including three in English: Photonics Research, High Power Laser Science and Engineering, and Chinese Optics Letters. CLP manages http://www.opticsjournal.net , the most active online platform in optics in China, holds conferences, and offers continuing education courses.
About SPIE
SPIE is the international society for optics and photonics, an educational not-for-profit organization founded in 1955 to advance light-based science, engineering, and technology. The Society serves more than 255,000 constituents from 183 countries, offering conferences and their published proceedings, continuing education, books, journals, and the SPIE Digital Library. In 2019, SPIE provided more than $5.6 million in community support including scholarships and awards, outreach and advocacy programs, travel grants, public policy, and educational resources. http://www.spie.org .
