Starting dose of Lexapro™ as effective as optimally dosed Zoloft® in the treatment of depression
A new study has found that the starting dose of Lexapro is as effective as an optimally dosed Zoloft in treating depression. Patients treated with Lexapro experienced significant relief from depressive symptoms, with 75% achieving a 50% or better reduction in their Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale scores.
