PRESERVE-ß 2-year study of initial combo therapy with nateglinide or glyburide + metformin
The two-year study found that patients treated with Starlix plus metformin had a 50% lower incidence of hypoglycemia compared to those taking glyburide and metformin. This combination therapy resulted in equally effective glycemic control and sustained reductions in post-meal glucose levels.
