New study suggests role for clazosentan in the prevention of cerebral vasospasm after aneurysmal SAH
A Phase IIa study found that patients given clazosentan suffered from significantly fewer and less severe cases of cerebral vasospasm compared to placebo. The treatment was also associated with a lower incidence of new cerebral infarcts.
