A comprehensive meta-analysis of 186 studies found that conservation actions improved biodiversity in 66% of cases, slowing decline or increasing species populations. While some interventions were ineffective, they still provided valuable knowledge for refining methods and addressing systemic drivers of biodiversity loss.
