Yikuan Li, Assistant Professor, Health Administration and Policy, College of Public Health, received a 2026 ORAU Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award.
Li has two aims for this project.
First, he aims to develop and validate an LLM-based refinement tool for MetaMap outputs.
Second, he aims to assess the potential utility of LLM-refined outputs in downstream clinical predictive models.
Li received $5,000 from Oak Ridge Associated Universities for this award. Funding began in July 2026 and will end in late June 2027.
