The UK has created several programs to recruit, retain and promote women in science, engineering and technology both in academia and careers. This year at AAAS UK Science and Technology and the British Council celebrate Women in Science. There will be an UK pavilion at the AAAS exhibit hall that will feature opportunities for study abroad, research, investment and trade with the UK. UK universities including Bristol, Cambridge, Imperial and Warwick will be available at the pavilion to discuss their science programs and special opportunities for women in science.

The UK's progressive science and technology environment makes it the partner of choice for world-leading researchers, developers and academics eager to turn knowledge into innovation. Learn more about how the UK is developing science and technology for a new world at www.uksciencetech.com .
