IU Chemistry distinguishes eight of the nation's faculty for excellence in undergraduate research

Honorees Andrew Leavitt (State University of West Georgia), Robert Milosky (Fort Lewis College, Colo.), Lisa Lewis (Albion College, Mich.), William Polik (Hope College, Mich.), Thomas Clayton (Knox College, Ill.), Lisa Szczepura (Illinois State University), Carl Wigal (Lebanon Valley College, Pa.), and Thomas Smith (Williams College, Mass.) will each present 25-minute talks. Later in the evening, honorees will receive plaques and commendations.

Pfizer GRD Vice President Bruce Roth, who discovered the cholesterol drug Lipitor, will give the symposium's keynote address. The symposium schedule is available online at http://www.chem.indiana.edu/schedule of events.htm .
