Whole Grain Intake May Reduce Risk Of Ischemic Heart Disease Death In Postmenopausal Women: The Iowa Women's Health Study

Corresponding Author: D. R. Jacobs ( jacobs@epivax.epi.umn.edu )

A 10-year analysis of ischemic heart disease deaths among 34,492 postmenopausal women showed lowest risk among those who consumed the most whole-grain in their diets.
