On August 17 and August 18, the University of New Orleans' Advanced Materials Research Institute will host the second annual Louisiana Materials Science Conference. The two-day conference, held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chemical Sciences Building, will feature close to 30 academic and industry speakers presenting a range of topic involving materials science. The conference is sponsored by NSF EPSCoR and the Board of Regents of the State of Louisiana.
