CHICAGO — JAMA and the JAMA Network announced today that Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, PhD, MD, MAS, has extended her contract with the American Medical Association (AMA) through 2031, providing continuity in the leadership one of the world's leading medical publishing platforms.

An acclaimed and highly accomplished physician-scientist and academic leader, Dr. Bibbins-Domingo joined the JAMA Network in 2022 from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she is currently on leave. She is Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and the Lee Goldman, MD Professor of Medicine at UCSF, as well as an attending general internist at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where she continues to see patients.
