Drug discovery and development play vital roles in designing and implementing novel research, cutting-edge methods, and clinical treatments. In this rapidly growing field, staying up to date with the latest breakthroughs is more important than ever. For the past five years, Labroots has been hosting a virtual event series that brings together specialists of all levels to discuss their ongoing research in drug discovery and development.
Now, Labroots is happy to announce that registration is open for the 6th Annual meeting of the Drug Discovery & Development Virtual Event Series, which will be held online only on February 22, 2023. This exciting event is free to attend and will feature speakers from academia and industry to discuss new opportunities, key challenges, and recent successes in the current drug discovery and development landscape. Participation in the event will also earn attendees free continuing education (CE) credits.
“My laboratory has spent the last 20 years developing a molecular pharmacology profiling platform that is able to monitor various facets of receptor binding, signaling and trafficking in live cells and in real-time,” said Professor Kevin Pfleger, Director of Biomedical and Health Innovation at The University of Western Australia, and the Head of Molecular Endocrinology and Pharmacology at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Dr. Pfleger, this year’s Keynote speaker, will present research that “has uncovered novel pharmacology that underpins drug development by Dimerix and RAGE Biotech, with Dimerix progressing well beyond preclinical development into Phase 3 clinical trials. I’m excited to highlight these capabilities through Labroots’ unique platform.”

Call for Posters - Like registration, poster submission is free. Researchers of all levels are welcome to submit their posters to the event’s virtual poster session here . These sessions grant you the opportunity to showcase your data and research to the world via a combined PDF poster and video summary, along with continuing the conversation with intrigued colleagues via email and networking lounge. The deadline for poster submissions is Friday 17th of February 2023 at 5:00 pm PT.
Even though the event is live for only one day, it will remain open to the public until February 22, 2025, meaning you can share it with any colleagues who might be unable to attend on the day after the fact.
