Exercise science researchers at the University of South Carolina's Arnold School of Public Health are recruiting parent-child duos to participate in a virtual study for children ages 3-5. The study is led by assistant professor of exercise science, Dr. Bridget Armstrong and funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

The purpose of this study is to learn how children and families grow, sleep, move, and use technology and will involve approximately 375 sets of volunteers. Families can earn up to $1,200 across three years of participating in 20 hours of activities/interactions over the 36 months.

There are no foreseeable risks involved for parents or children for participating in this study and all information will remain confidential. The researchers will use this information to help design programs to help children and parents make healthy choices.
