Leading professionalism efforts is not for the faint of heart. Even at highly reliable organizations, there are times when inevitable nuances and challenges emerge that can impact the necessary pillars of a professionalism program or initiative, potentially placing sustainability at risk. Are you prepared for these moments? Do you have a plan?
The Vanderbilt Health Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy (CPPA) will host a highly interactive four-hour virtual session, dedicated toward developing pathways that address some of these complexities, including:
• Sustaining leadership engagement and/or re-engaging leadership
• Non-responders with influence
• Significant well-being concerns
• Group/unit/departmental pushback
The course, “ Navigating Complex Cases in Professionalism ” will address these challenges and more with real-world case studies, recent research and breakout room collaboration.
For 30 years, the CPPA has helped countless leaders in over 300 health care sites effectively navigate the complexities of operationalizing and sustaining professional accountability programs and initiatives.
