Peter Pachowicz, Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, is serving as faculty lead on a project aimed at identifying and integrating multiple information sources (space, air, terrestrial, maritime) that can be marshaled and applied to critical issues affecting the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Along with faculty leads from other Virginia universities, Pachowicz will provide subject matter expertise, manage the budget, and participate in team meetings.

This project is a first-phase effort to provide a foundation for longer-term research collaborations with additional sponsors and government industry partners.

Pachowicz received $10,000 from MITRE for this work. Funding began in June 2020 and will end in late September 2020.
