Washington, DC -- September 17, 1998 -- The roles of science, religion, and economics in developing policies on global climate change will be explored by scientific, religious, and corporate leaders at a two-day conference. The conference, sponsored by the AAAS Program on Dialogue Between Science and Religion, will outline the scientific evidence regarding global climate change and opportunities to respond to ethical, religious, and economic challenges. The panelists will also review the Kyoto Protocol and its political prospects.
