Sibling cannibalism in the brood cell of Isodontia harmandi.

This larva, bending its body and mirroring the letter “J”, was biting another larva at the thoracic part. Body lengths of both cannibal and its victim were around 20 mm. Scale bar indicates 10 mm at the center of the photo. The photo was taken just after opening the nest built in the bamboo cane trap by YI.
