BOSTON — SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 — U.S. News & World Report has recognized Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center as the # 1 pediatric cancer program in the nation in its 2026-2027 Best Children’s Hospitals report . Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s has been recognized as one of the top three pediatric cancer centers in the country each year since the ranking’s inception in 2007, earning more #1 rankings than any other program.
“This accomplishment highlights our team’s commitment to expert, personalized cancer care for children and young adults, enhanced by the shared expertise and resources of two world-class institutions,” said Andrew E. Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s brings together two internationally renowned research and teaching institutions that have provided comprehensive care for children with cancer and blood disorders since 1947. The Harvard Medical School affiliates share a clinical staff that provide inpatient care and surgery at Boston Children’s and most outpatient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

For the 2026-2027 rankings, U.S. News, together with RTI International, a North Carolina-based research firm, collected and analyzed data from 114 children’s hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children’s hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, compliance with established best practices, and level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care.
