Results from a global synthesis of 105 experiments from the Community Responses to Resource Experiments database suggest that grassland plant communities exhibit delayed shifts in composition in response to individual global change drivers, such as nutrient pollution, drought, and climate warming, and that the probability of community response increases with the number of anthropogenic drivers applied, according to the authors.
