The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is pleased to announce its partnership with the Science and Technology Review Publishing House, the publishing house under the leadership of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) , to publish Research Future as a Science Partner Journal.
Research Future is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to publish comprehensive review articles that promote the development of knowledge in the fields of life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, and applied sciences. The journal welcomes submissions that present meaningful advances in their field, whether through new discoveries, innovative experimental or computational approaches, translational applications, or comprehensive synthesis of rapidly developing areas of research. Categories of manuscripts include Reviews, Perspectives, Commentaries, Opinions, and Editorials.
Professor Tie Jun Cui of Southeast University serves as Editor-in-Chief. Research Future is currently open for submission and publishes under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
"As the sister journal of Research — the second journal launched through the collaboration between the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) — we aim to build Research Future into a comprehensive review journal that is forward-looking and pioneering, advancing knowledge across disciplines, and we hope it will empower scientists worldwide to chart the future of research together," said Professor Tie Jun Cui.

Titles participating in the Science Partner Journal program are added on a regular basis and participation in the program is kept to English-language publications. AAAS is actively seeking new partners across scientific disciplines. Organizations participating in the Science Partner Journal program will be editorially independent and responsible for the content published in each journal. Partner organizations are responsible for establishing editorial boards committed to best practices in peer review and author service.
