Africa–Europe research consortium targets evidence gap keeping young children out of parasite control programs
The IVM-KIDS project aims to address the evidence gap for ivermectin use in children under 15 kg, a population excluded from parasite control programs due to lack of safety evidence. The four-year initiative will conduct clinical research to determine the safety and efficacy of ivermectin in this age group.
