ACL repair patients have better outcomes than patients who undergo ACL reconstruction

A recent study found that ACL repair patients have significantly better isokinetic strength tests at 6 months and better final follow-up scores on the Forgotten Joint Score-12 (FJS) compared to those who underwent ACL reconstruction. However, the rate of re-rupture was higher in the ACL repair group, particularly among younger patients.
