About The Study: This examination of lung cancer screening (LCS) among eligible adults in Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, and Rhode Island found that the prevalence of LCS in 2021 rebounded to higher levels than in 2019. However, LCS rates remain lower than other population-level cancer screening programs. Consistent with prior studies, LCS uptake varied between states. Having a primary health professional was associated with higher likelihood of LCS. These findings highlight the potential importance of Medicare coverage for LCS.
