Rebecca Sutter, Co-Director, Mason and Partners Clinics, Professor, Nursing, received funding from County of Fairfax for: "Empowered Communities Opioid Project for the Underrepresented."
The Empowered Community Opioid Project (ECOP) utilizes principles from care coordination, case management, and population health to maximize health outcomes and resource utilization for populations and the individuals within them, in this case, those high-risk individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD). The ECOP Bridge process focuses on coordinating care through cross-sector system collaboration followed by individualization of that care.
Sutter received $119,913 from the County of Fairfax for this project. Funding began in Oct. 2022 and will end in late Sept. 2023.
