CEC Researchers Studying Defense-In-Depth Cyber-Physical Security For AI Data Centers

Kai Zeng, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), and Liling Huang, Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, CEC, received $100,000 from Virginia Innovation Partnership Authority for the project: “Defense-in-Depth Cyber-Physical Security for AI Data Centers.”

This funding began in Aug. 2026 and will end in late July 2027.
