Lumos Labs, creator of Lumosity , today announced the launch of the Lumosity Research Platform, bringing together the company’s cognitive assessments, digital cognitive training interventions, participant recruitment, and real-world data into a single platform for cognitive research. Developed through years of collaboration with academic researchers, these capabilities are now available to a broader range of research organizations, including healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, nonprofit research organizations, and commercial research partners. The platform gives researchers the flexibility to design and conduct cognitive studies ranging from a single cognitive assessment to large-scale randomized controlled trials.

The Lumosity Research Platform builds on Lumosity's Human Cognition Project (HCP), the company’s collaborative research initiative to advance cognitive science. Over the past two decades, Lumosity has been a part of more than 175 peer-reviewed publications and supported over 200 research collaborations, with 1.5 million research participants. Researchers around the world use Lumosity to study cognitive performance and the effects of cognitive training across healthy aging and neurological conditions, including research that supports the development of digital therapeutics.

Doraiswamy has collaborated with Lumosity on studies of large-scale cognitive data, computerized cognitive training using Lumosity and the NeuroCognitive Performance Test, and the validity of the NeuroCognitive Performance Test in people with mild cognitive impairment.
