CLEVELAND -- University Hospitals has been officially recognized by Forbes and Statista as one of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2026 , ranking No. 1 in Northeast Ohio, No. 3 in Ohio and No. 26 in the United States.

America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals were identified through an independent survey of more than 30,000 U.S. employees working for healthcare and social welfare providers with at least 1,000 employees nationwide.

This recognition highlights UH’s outstanding workplace culture, employee support programs and commitment to supporting healthcare professionals. It also points to the health system’s ongoing commitment to building an inclusive, innovative, and empowering environment where healthcare professionals can thrive.

The ranking evaluated employers based on atmosphere and development, salary and wages, image, company culture, working conditions and workplace environment.
