Albanese Receives funding for 2026 Global Scale-Up Campus 'Incheon Univ. X'

Massimiliano Albanese, Professor and Associate Chair for Research, Information Sciences and Technology, College of Engineering and Computing (CEC); Executive Director, Institute for Digital Innovation, Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Impact, received funding to provide advisory and consulting services in support of the 2026 Global Scale-up Campus "Incheon Univ. X" initiative for the three selected companies.

The three selected companies are: Mondrian AI, MGHNRT, and Nurie AI.

George Mason will provide these services to support the program's U.S. activities.

Albanese received $40,000 from Mason Korea IUCF for this award. Funding began in Aug. 2026 and will end in late Nov. 2026.
